I will forever hold dear the memory of the Private Thames River Cruise, as this was the place where my boyfriend finally proposed. It was incredible and a total surprise at that point. It happened right as we were passing by Cleopatra's Needle; I'll never forget it. As I said 'yes,' we heard a champagne bottle pop, so the captain and crew were in on the plot. It was all very cheerful, and I really felt that this was my moment.
My family and I spent a wonderful summer in England, but it was time to get back to the States. We only had a couple of more days, so I decided to treat them all to a private dinner cruise in London. It was just the four of us, and we had such a memorable experience that we vowed to repeat it next time. SAILING THROUGH THE HEART OF LONDON

As you sip on a glass of chilled champagne, you will sail under the Westminster Bridge. It is the oldest surviving bridge that crosses the River Thames in the central London area. Next on your journey, you will see the magnificent London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel. When it was opened to the public in the year 2000, it was the world's tallest Ferris wheel.
AS THE RIVER THAMES CURVES
During the Private Thames River Cruise, you will have a chance to see the Royal Festival Hall, the home of famous orchestras. If you look to your left, you will see another London landmark, Cleopatra's Needle. This obelisk was built around 1450 BCE by the pharaoh Thutmose III. It was gifted to the United Kingdom in the early 19th century as a sign of gratitude for the victories of the British Navy against Napoleon.

On the other bank of the River Thames, you will see a more modern structure, the Tate Modern. A little further on is the reconstructed Shakespeare's Globe Theater. Next, a WWII-era battleship will catch your eye's attention—the HMS Belfast.
